Belgium beat Hungary 4-0 in yesterday’s EURO 2016 round of 16 match, with captain Eden Hazard in particularly special form.
The win sees Belgium advance to the quarter finals, where they will meet underdogs Wales on Friday, 1 July. The Belgian team twice played against the Welsh in the EURO 2016 qualifiers, and although Belgium ended up topping their group, Wales came out on top when they faced-off head-to-head.
The quarter final match will be played in Lille, where captain Hazard used to ply his trade before he moved to English giants Chelsea.
The Belgian skipper said of his impending return to the North-French city: “It’s a matter of personal pride for me and I made it a goal of mine before this game.”
“I know there will be a lot of supporters from Belgium there and I hope Friday we’ll have a big party there as well. I hope we have a good match.”
