Often the word unique is used loosely but in the case of ADAM (Art & Design Atomium Museum) it is spot on. The heart of the museum is its permanent exhibition; the remarkable 2,000 plastic object collection of Philippe Decelle. From everyday objects to individual art pieces, the collection is breathtaking in its visual stimulation and its scope. And the announced temporary shows sound equally interesting. The first one in March is Eames and Hollywood which combines Eames furniture with classic photos taken on the set of legendary director Billy Wilder.
Not to be missed! Richard Harris speaks with retired Brussels Burgomeister Freddie Thielemans and takes us on a tour of the collection courtesy of Laura of Arkadia tours.
