Nine people were arrested in a series of police raids in the Belgian capital on Thursday in connection with last week’s Paris terror attacks.
Seven of the arrests were people believed to have links with Bilal Hadfi, who detonated a suicide bomb at the Stade de France venue in Paris.
Hadfi had been known to Belgian authorities since early 2015 and appeared on a list of 800 people known to have fought in Syria.
A spokesperson for the public prosecutor said homes were raided in central Brussels and the neighbouring districts of Molenbeek, Jette, Uccle and Laeken.
The prosecutor will announce on Friday whether any charges will be brought following this latest wave of arrests.
