International Day of The Girl – Interview with Rosemary Hindle

Rosemary Hindle works at the World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts.  She talked with Alison Turner about the significance of the first International Day of the Girl – 11th October 2012.  “It’s really important that girls have their own space, have their own opportunity to bring the issues that are important to them to decision makers, and that there’s space given for decision makers to think about their needs and what they need to do to meet them.”  WAGGGS is giving people an opportunity to express how they see “The World We Want For Girls”.
